“300″ A must-see!
Based on the historical battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC, “300″ magnificently portrayed one of history’s most famous last stands. An alliance of Greek-city states (300 Spartans and 700 Thespians) fought off the Invading Persian army. In this great battle, 1000 Greek army troops fought against some 150,000 - 1,500,000 Persian troops.Â
During the first three days of its release, “300″ grossed a whopping $70 million, enough to cover the cost of production and some.  I watched this movie over the weekend and it is definitely a must see! Â
After defeating his nemeses (the evil Green Goblin and Doc Ock) and winning the heart of Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker has finally found lasting victory and peace……or so he thinks. Little does Parker know that he is about to face the greatest battle yet-by challenging his own fundamental darkness of arrogance and greed, which is depicted by the sudden color change of his trademark blue and red suit to a midnight black one. Aside from battling his own inner demons, Spiderman must also face two of the most threatening adversaries, Sandman and Venom. Will absolute evil corrupt absolutely? Or will Spiderman prove himself once again and triumph over evil?
