Couples Merging Identities
There is a well known phenomenon that pets and their owners look alike. Well, I take that phenomenon one step further and apply it to human beings. More specifically, speaking of couples in romantic relationships. I’ve noticed that couples who are seriously committed to one another tend to ”merge” their identities. They end up looking more and more alike each other.  Take Jessican Simpson as an example. When Jessica was involved with Nick Lachey, a former boyband member from 98 Degrees, she carried herself with much of a teen pop/Hollywood appeal. But now that she is dating John Meyer, she has, in a sense, “downgraded” her image to a more t-shirt/jeans, laid back kinda gal. She even died her hair brown to match Meyer’s hair!Â

Although Hugh Hefner’s 81st birthday isn’t until April 9, Hef and his three girlfriends have begun their pre-bash celebration - first party destination being the City of Sin, Las Vegas. Does this man ever get tired of partying? I wonder what his bday wish is…hmmm….maybe younger girlfriends?     
First it was Paris Hilton charged with a DUI (months later, she was caught again, but this time driving under a suspended license), then it was Nicole Richie who drove against traffic onto a freeway ramp while drugged on Marijuana and Vicodine. Oh yeah, let’s not forget to mention Britney Spear’s and Lindsey Lohan’s repeated visits to rehab. Now it’s Vivica A. Fox who has joined the list of wild Hollywood starlets. Last Tuesday night, Fox was arrested on counts of two misdemeanor DUI charges. If guilty, Fox could face six months in jail. But do stars ever face such consequences? I believe not. Stars definitely capitalize on their fame when it comes to facing legal consequences of their illegal behaviors - just ask OJ. Simpson.
How many more men are claiming to be Danielynn’s baby daddy? First it was a battle between archnemeses Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern, but now Smith’s former body guard and Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, are also claiming to have fathered the baby.
She may have been dubbed by Time Magazine as the ”Madonna of Myspace,” but it looks as if Tila Tequila’s 1.7 million friends did little to support the release of her new single “I Love You,” produced by Lil Jon. One week after its release, Tila sold 13,000 copies. That’s less than 1% of her Myspace fan base. On a happier note, her music video for “I Love You,” in which Tila shows off her blessed assets (is she really blessed with them? maybe not…) became the most downloaded music video on iTunes. Hmmmmm… doesn’t this make one question what Tila’s fans are really supporting?
