After defeating his nemeses (the evil Green Goblin and Doc Ock) and winning the heart of Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker has finally found lasting victory and peace……or so he thinks. Little does Parker know that he is about to face the greatest battle yet-by challenging his own fundamental darkness of arrogance and greed, which is depicted by the sudden color change of his trademark blue and red suit to a midnight black one. Aside from battling his own inner demons, Spiderman must also face two of the most threatening adversaries, Sandman and Venom. Will absolute evil corrupt absolutely? Or will Spiderman prove himself once again and triumph over evil?
