Smith’s Burial to Take Place in the Bahamas
After an intense battle to the custody of Anna Nicole Smith’s body, a Florida appeals court finally made the decision to hand over the rights to 5-month-old baby Dannielynn’s court-appointed representative. Smith, 39, will be buried in the Bahamas next to her son, Daniel, who died at the young age of 20.  Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur, opposed the request for Anna to be buried in the Bahamas; she wanted the body to be buried in Texas, where Anna was born and raised.  However, Virgie has chosen not to make an appeal.Â
The private memorial service will take place tomorrow at an undisclosed church. It is speculated that approximately 300 guests will show. Pol Atteu, who has designed numerous elegant dresses for Smith, will provide the gown that Smith will be buried in. A source states that the service will be very elaborate, including a beautifully designed casket (that will most likely remain closed), large pink flowers (Anna’s favorite color), and a performance by a well-known singer. Simpson, a close friend of Anna, stated “Of course it will be over the top because it’s Anna Nicole” (as reported by Yahoo! News).
